Thanks and a disclaimer

My thanks to Chris and to the other permanent contributors for inviting me to guest blog here at Opinio Juris. During my first week I’ll post on some rather disturbing things I’ve discovered on the US Supreme Court’s decision-making process while I was doing research for a new article of mine, entitled ‘Lessons for Human Rights and Humanitarian Law in the War on Terror: Comparing Hamdan and the Israeli Targeted Killings Case’, forthcoming in the June 2007 issue of the International Review of the Red Cross.

As Chris said, I am currently working at the International Court of Justice, so customary disclaimers apply. I cannot comment on any current events at the Court, and all opinions expressed here are my own.

That takes care of that, and I’ll be putting up my first post shortly.
