ILA British Branch Annual Spring Conference

The International Law Association British Branch Annual Spring Conference will be held on Friday 29 April 2022 at the University of Surrey. The Conference will be held in hybrid mode on the theme ‘International Law and Climate Change’. Full details may be found in the conference programme enclosed and the conference website.

Fees range from £10 to £70 and may be purchased at EventBrite. Capacity for in-person participants is limited to 150 persons and there is no limit for virtual participants. Entry to the conference dinner and keynote address at the Guildford Harbour Hotel is open to in-person attendees at no additional charge on a first-come, first-served basis. To mitigate the carbon footprint of the event, which is being estimated by the organising committee, registrants intending to attend in-person are requested to use low-carbon means of public transport, such as trains, buses and coaches.

Tel Aviv University Special Virtual Roundtable: A New Phase in Global Health Law or Another Variant? Towards a Pandemic Treaty: Tel Aviv University is pleased to announce an International Law Workshop & Program on Law and Health. Specifically, TAU is holding a Special Virtual Roundtable on “A New Phase in Global Health Law or Another Variant? Towards a Pandemic Treaty” on Monday, March 21 2022, 16:15-17:45, Tel-Aviv Time. The Conveners include Natalie Davidson, Aeyal Gross, and Eliav Lieblich. The Speakers include: Mark Eccleston-Turner, King’s College London; Nithin Ramakrishnan, Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth, Kochi; Ellen ‘t Hoen, Medicines Law and Policy; and Anne Peters, Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law Heidelberg.
