A very Merry Christmas to our celebrating readers, and to everyone, a happy holiday and best wishes in the New Year. I would like to report for the record that NORAD got it right, and … Santa came!
Of course Santa didn’t go to Israel, the birthplace of Christ, and many Arab countries … intolerant Christian or just doesn’t play geopolitics?
Santa is a minor deity in the pantheon of sentimental capitalism … so I would assume that supply goes where it goes to meet demand. But … it’s Christmas, so I say, go eat chocolate and we can debate geopolitics another day. Merry Christmas, and may we all count our blessings.
Merry Christmas!
(raises glass of Irish coffee, a drink most Arabs don’t appreciate. Must make me an intolerant)
Merry Christmas to you Kenneth. Thanks for your the great commentaries here. It is great to see such exceptional scholarship. Regards, SD
