Ameera Ismail received her BA and LLB(Hons) from the University of Queensland and is currently practising as a lawyer in Brisbane, Australia. She previously worked for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (Queensland) and has experience in criminal law, human rights and anti-discrimination, and international humanitarian law. In 2020, Ameera was a Visiting Professional at the International Criminal Court.
