Calls for Papers
100 Years of Research in Comparative Public Law and International Law – Call for Focus Sections and Papers: In 2024, the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law, Heidelberg (MPIL), will celebrate its 100th anniversary. Over the years, the Institute’s research has tackled foundational issues of public international law, European Union law as well as comparative public law and at times has shaped the debate. As the first centenary comes to a close, we take a critical look back at the past, yet we also want to look forward by exploring topics, challenges, and methods for the next century.
All proposals for focus sections can be submitted to zaoerv@mpil.de. Proposals should include a short description of the topic and possible contributions (maximum of 1,000 words). More information can be found here.
Trade, Law & Development – Call for Submissions: Founded in 2009, the philosophy of Trade, Law and Development (TL&D) has been to generate and sustain a constructive and democratic debate on emergent issues in international economic law and to serve as a forum for the discussion and distribution of ideas. The Board of Editors is pleased to invite original, unpublished manuscripts for publication in the General Issue of the Journal (Vol. XV, No. 2) in the form of ‘Articles’, ‘Notes’, ‘Comments’ and ‘Book Reviews’.
Manuscripts received by 5 August 2023, pertaining to any area within the purview of international economic law will be reviewed for publication in the Winter ’23 issue. Manuscripts may be submitted via e-mail or via the Journal’s website here. For further information about the Journal, please click here. For submission guidelines, please click here.
