Erick Guapizaca Jiménez

Erick Guapizaca Jiménez is an S.J.D. candidate at the University of Michigan Law School and lecturer in the online law program at the Universidad Internacional del Ecuador.

Erick clerked at the Constitutional Court of Ecuador, coordinated arbitral proceedings at the Center of International Arbitration of the Chamber of Industries and Production in Ecuador, and was a fellow at the UN International Law Commission.

Erick’s research focuses on public international law, international economic law, with particular attention to property, self-determination, and legal pluralism in the Global South.
