Calls for Papers
AILA Conference on International Law: The Armenian International Law Association (AILA) invites scholars, practitioners, and students to submit abstracts for the Inaugural AILA Conference on International Law. The theme of the conference is “Rethinking International Law: Knowledge, Action, Reflection”. Knowledge invites us to reconsider how international law is taught; action calls for rethinking its implementation and practice; and reflection encourages renewed thinking on research and academic engagement with international law. A dedicated student panel will also be organized to promote the participation of students and recent graduates.
Interested applicants are invited to submit an abstract of up to 500 words in English, including the author’s full name and institutional affiliation, together with a short bio (max. 300 words) or a CV (max. 2 pages). There is no participation fee. The Conference will take place on 14 February 2026 in Yerevan, Armenia. Deadline for submissions: 15 December 2025. ASIL International Criminal Law Works-in-Progress Workshop: The American Society of International Law’s International Criminal Law Interest Group will hold its annual Works-in-Progress Workshop in person on 8 June 2026, at Boston University School of Law. Submissions at various stages of development on any topic related to international criminal law broadly construed (including transnational criminal law) are welcome. Indications of interest from potential commentators are also welcome. Prospective participants should fill out this form by 1 April 2026, indicating whether they hope to present a paper and/or comment on papers, or whether they would like to attend without presenting or commenting. Navigating Stormy Seas – People, Place and Perspectives in International Law – Australian and New Zealand Society of International Law Annual Conference 2026: The ANZSIL Conference Organising Committee invites paper and panel proposals for the 33rd ANZSIL Annual Conference, to be co-hosted by the New Zealand Centre for Public Law, 1-3 July 2026. Submissions on a wide range of areas are invited, with a specific focus on the conference theme. For the full Call/Statement of the theme and for the abstract submission process, see here. In addition, applications are open for the Alice Edwards Breakthrough Researcher Award, designed to assist one or two early career researchers or PhD students to present at the conference. See here for eligibility, benefits and the application form. The deadline for the Call for Papers and the Alice Edwards Breakthrough Researcher Award is Monday 16 February 2026.
GNLU Student Law Review: The GNLU Student Law Review (GSLR), the flagship student-led publication of Gujarat National Law University, is accepting submissions for its upcoming Volume VII, scheduled to be published in June 2026. The GSLR is an annual, student-edited, double-blind peer reviewed publication with regular collaboration with experts and practitioners in order to foster insightful legal discourse on contemporary legal developments and innovative legal solutions.
The GSLR welcomes submissions of articles, book reviews, case notes and legislative comments offering comparative perspectives and interdisciplinary approaches to India’s evolving legal landscape. Submissions are welcomed from students, academicians, legal scholars and practitioners. The last date for contributing to Volume VII of the GSLR is Thursday, 25 December 2025.
