ESIL Pre-Conference Workshops: The Call for Papers for the Pre-Conference Workshop of the ESIL Interest Group on International Human Rights Law on ‘The Reconstruction of Victimhood in International Human Rights Law’, as well as the Call for Papers for the Pre-Conference Workshop of the ESIL Interest Group on International Environmental Law on ‘Reconstructing International Environmental Law Through Adjudication’ are now live! All the calls for papers for ESIL Interest Group workshops at the 2025 ESIL Annual Conference in Berlin can be found here. All scholars, practitioners, and activists are encouraged to submit an abstract and be part of an engaging and thought-provoking discussion in Berlin this September. This is a fantastic opportunity to share your research, connect with fellow scholars, and contribute to the vibrant ESIL community. Kabarak Law Review – 25 Years of the AU Constitutive Act: This edition’s theme of the Kabarak Law Review is reflecting on 25 Years of the African Union Constitutive Act. The Call for Papers invites critical reflection on whether Africa has upheld its principles and advanced the ideals of pan-Africanism. Some of the essential sub-thematic areas pertain to peace and security, financial independence, and trade and economic integration. The submission guidelines include full-length articles which will be due on 30 April 2025 and short commentaries which will be due on 31 July 2025. For more details on the CfP, please access it here.
