Do You MissionFish?

I just learned of a wonderful new way to support your favorite nonprofit organization. It is called MissionFish. Essentially nonprofits register with MissionFish, and then Ebay sellers can agree to donate all or part of the proceeds from any Ebay sale they make to the nonprofit of their choice. Once the item sells, the seller gets paid by the buyer. MissionFish then collects the donation from the seller, pays the nonprofit, and provides a tax receipt to the seller.

International nonprofits are among the major types of nonprofits listed. Within the international category there are organizations focused on the environment, AIDS, cancer, disaster relief, social entrepeneurship, education, arts, and animal rights.

MissionFish has already raised $68 million for over 11,000 nonprofits. Sounds like a great way to donate goods instead of money. So if you want to support Amnesty, UNICEF, or the Red Cross, you have a new, easy and creative way to do so.
